Marketing Manager, Sales Support (Job Code: PM)

Responsibilities/ Skills/Complexity :

  • Receives and responds to information requests from the Field Sales teams – ranging from program attributes, sales & marketing collateral, pricing, SKUs, Order Management, issue escalation, etc.
  • Provides tactical support (via email and  phone) to global channel sales teams (including resellers and partners) to facilitate M&S Sales
  • Provides guidance that reflects a solid understanding of the sales process and the underlying question/objection the sales team may be trying to address
  • Builds and maintains a robust repository of FAQs, marketing collateral, and sales tools; Effectively leverages a mix of home grown options and InField to make this repository available to the Field Sales teams
  • Contributes to the development of sales tools to support the various phases of the sales process
  • Drives the rollout of new marketing content and sales tools; Monitors adoption of the tools and gathers feedback to understand corrective actions that may be required

Education and Relevant Experience

  • Solid (3 to 5 years) experience in a marketing/sales role, ideally operating at the interface of these 2 functions
  • Understanding of a typical enterprise sales process and the application of sales tools and marketing collateral to support the sales process
  • Detail oriented and process oriented, with the ability to respond to multiple stakeholder with the right guidance on the program level questions and sales process
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; Proficient at Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Master’s degree with 5 years experience
