Adobe India fosters an environment where employees get an opportunity to involve themselves in a variety of activities outside of work, most of which are created, planned and implemented by employee groups.
A common acronym at Adobe is ESCAPE which stands for Entertainment, Sports, Celebration, Activities, Party planning and Events. The ESCAPE Committees are groups of high-spirited, actively involved Adobe employees who organize and manage sports, fun activities and events for Adobe employees at the Noida and Bangalore campuses. The criterion for membership – you just need to have flair for fun and then the commitment and involvement is infectious. That is the essence of fun at Adobe.
To further the elements of fun and in a way relive our campus moments; all activities are held on an inter-house level. Yes, Adobe has "houses" like we had in school! We have Gladiators, Samurais, Ninjas and Daredevils - and the names do not belie the fierceness of the rivalry for the Champion Cup.
Since the start of the competition season, we have had traditional events such as cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis and volleyball and more creative events such as a treasure hunt and a laughter challenge - where wisdom is put to rest. For our intellectual junkies, we also have a book club and quiz competitions.
You will also see Adobe employees celebrating holidays and festivals together with their families. Employees also frequently plan weekend excursions to fun and adventurous locations.
